Sometimes things just don’t work out – and that’s okay. Here we explain transparently and fairly when and how refunds are possible at Yelf. As a cosmetics brand, we take responsibility – towards you, but also towards the environment and our shared resources. That’s why we rely on clear rules, conscious purchasing decisions and sustainable processes.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to all orders placed via the Yelf online shop with shipping to the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA). It applies to both B2C and B2B customers and supplements our Right of Withdrawal and Shipping Policy

 

This Refund Policy describes Yelf’s voluntary return and refund process, as well as the handling of damaged or incorrectly delivered items. It does not limit your statutory rights, including your statutory right of withdrawal and your legal warranty rights.

2. Sustainability & Conscious Purchasing Decisions

Sustainability is not a marketing term for us – it is an attitude. We encourage all our customers to make their purchasing decisions based on conviction, not on free shipping incentives. For this reason, Yelf deliberately does not offer free returns, helping to avoid unnecessary transport-related emissions.

3. Voluntary Return Period

In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, Yelf may accept voluntary return requests within 30 days after delivery, provided that the product meets the refund conditions set out below. This voluntary return option applies only to products that are unopened, unused, undamaged and in their complete original condition. The voluntary return option does not limit your statutory right of withdrawal or your legal warranty rights.

4. Conditions for a Refund

Yelf products are hygienic cosmetic products. A refund is therefore only possible if the returned items are: 

  1. unopened 
  2. undamaged 
  3. unused 
  4. and in their complete original condition 

Opened, used or altered cosmetic products are excluded from refunds, as our high hygiene standards for resale can no longer be guaranteed.

 

Some of our products are additionally equipped with a hygiene seal. If this seal has been removed, a refund is generally excluded – regardless of whether the product has been used or not.

 

This regulation applies without exception, including to discounted items, promotions or product bundles.

5. Returns

Contact before returning an item

Please contact Yelf Support at hello@yelf-yeah.com before returning any item in order to clarify your request and coordinate the next steps. This helps us ensure that returns can be correctly assigned and unnecessary transport can be avoided. Please do not send any products back before you have received our return instructions.

 

Voluntary returns (change of mind)

If you do not like a Yelf product or no longer wish to keep it, you may request a voluntary return within 30 days after delivery, provided that the product is unopened, unused, undamaged and in its complete original condition. Voluntary returns are made at your own expense.

 

If the voluntary return is accepted after inspection, we will refund the product value only. Shipping costs incurred will not be refunded for voluntary returns outside the statutory right of withdrawal.

 

Damaged or incorrectly delivered items

If a product arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at hello@yelf-yeah.com before returning it. Depending on your location and the individual case, we will decide whether a return is required or whether a replacement product will be sent. We usually send a replacement product and do not issue a refund.

6. Refund Methods

Refunds are issued exclusively via the original payment method used for the purchase.

7. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds are only granted after individual review. Please contact us by email at hello@yelf-yeah.com to clarify your request. We will get back to you as quickly as possible. Together, we are sure to find a good solution.

8. Processing Time

We usually process return requests within a few days – often within just a few hours. For voluntary returns outside the statutory right of withdrawal, the refund of the product value is issued within 14 days after we have received and inspected the returned goods. For statutory withdrawals, the refund process is governed by our Right of Withdrawal.
