Withdraw from contract

1. Purpose and scope

This policy informs consumers about their statutory or contractually granted right of withdrawal when placing orders in the Yelf online shop. It explains who may exercise the right of withdrawal, which rules apply and how the withdrawal process works. It supplements our refund policy and our shipping conditions. In the event of contradictions, the more specific provisions shall take precedence.

 

It applies to orders with delivery to the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA), unless expressly stated otherwise.

 

This policy is intended exclusively for consumers (B2C). Business customers (B2B) do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.

2. General information on the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is a consumer right that may apply to distance contracts, including online purchases. Whether and to what extent a right of withdrawal exists depends on the country to which the goods are delivered and on the applicable legal requirements.

3. Right of withdrawal according to country of delivery

3.1 For deliveries to the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK)

Statutory right of withdrawal

For deliveries to the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK), consumers generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

 

Cancellation period

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receive the goods. If your order is delivered in several shipments, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, receive the last goods.

 

Exercising your right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement. You can do this, for example, by sending an email to hello@yelf-yeah.com, by using our electronic withdrawal form or by post. In case of post, please address your withdrawal to:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your withdrawal notice before the deadline expires (within 14 days of receiving the goods).

3.2 For deliveries to the United States of America (USA)

For deliveries to the United States of America (USA), a statutory right of withdrawal comparable to the EU/UK right of withdrawal generally does not apply. Returns and refunds for US orders are handled according to our Refund Policy, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
4. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery. This may apply in particular to cosmetic products that have been opened, unsealed or used. The exclusion applies regardless of whether the goods are regular goods, reduced items, special promotions or product bundles.
5. Exercising the right of withdrawal

You can exercise your right of withdrawal by using our electronic withdrawal form or by sending us a clear statement by email to hello@yelf-yeah.com or post to:

To help us process your request quickly, please include the following information where possible:

  1. Order number
  2. Your name and email address
  3. Information about the affected item(s)
  4. Your clearly stated wish to withdraw from the contract
6. Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs of the original shipment, where legally required. Additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than our standard delivery option will not be refunded.

 

We will make the refund without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day on which we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

 

The refund will be issued via the original payment method used for the purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
7. Returning the goods

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal from the contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

 

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

 

We recommend that you contact us before returning the goods so we can provide return instructions and correctly assign your return. This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal.

8. Inspection of returned goods

After receiving the returned goods, we will inspect their condition. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

 

If the right of withdrawal is excluded for hygiene or health protection reasons, in particular because a hygiene seal has been removed after delivery, we may refuse a refund after individual review.

 

If only part of an order is withdrawn, refunds and delivery costs will be reviewed individually in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
